We deliberately avoid mineral oils and parabens in this product. The shine of a pearl is created by a protein called conchiolin, which is present in large quantities in the mussel Pinctada fucata. This protein is found in the nacre layer. The pearls used for the extract come from a pearl farm in Japan, which produces to the highest standards.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin and is characterized by the fact that it can bind many times its own molecular weight in water (1g of hyaluronic acid can store up to 6 liters of water). In the skin, it therefore serves as a water reservoir (moisture reservoir) and helps to ensure that the skin is adequately supplied with moisture. A good supply of the skin with moisture is essential for the skin's own processes, such as the removal of dead, hardened skin cells, to run optimally. The hyaluronic acid is obtained through a biotechnological fermentation process and is partially optimized using chemical methods.
