The term "mineral oils" covers various synthetic, colorless and odorless oils and waxes that are extracted from petroleum in multi-stage purification and processing processes. BIODROGA deliberately avoids mineral oils in its products and instead relies on oils and waxes of natural origin. Parabens are preservatives and effectively protect the product from germs. Parabens are generally approved as ingredients in cosmetics for preservation, so they can be used. The BEAUTY ELIXIR 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a moisture boost for your skin. It plumps up fine lines caused by dryness and leaves your skin feeling plump and supple. Apply a few drops of the serum morning and evening after cleansing. Gently massage it into your skin before continuing with your skincare routine.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin and is characterized by the fact that it can bind many times its own molecular weight in water (1g of hyaluronic acid can store up to 6 liters of water). In the skin, it therefore serves as a water reservoir (moisture reservoir) and helps to ensure that the skin is adequately supplied with moisture. A good supply of the skin with moisture is essential for the skin's own processes, such as the removal of dead, hardened skin cells, to run optimally. The hyaluronic acid is obtained through a biotechnological fermentation process and is partially optimized using chemical methods.

Almond oil is the cold-pressed, fatty oil from the ripe seeds of the almond. It is rich in the unsaturated fatty acids oleic acid and linoleic acid. Almond oil nourishes the skin and has a moisturizing effect. The skin becomes smooth and supple.
